God Land and Everybody Likes a Good Story are pieces made out of photocopied pages of my Grandmother’s memoirs. The memoirs are stories about her early life with my Grandfather living on the sprawling CO Bar and Hashknife ranches in Arizona where my Great Grandfather was head foreman, and the Kinlichee reservation on the Navajo Nation territory. My Grandmother told these stories to my sister and I during our childhood, and wrote them down in her late eighties a few years before she died.
